Project Gunung Kinabalu

so....
after a looong planning....
after looong training...
after delays and obstacle...
31 of us UM subordinate...
went to SABAH 29/8/05....
to conquer mount kinabalu on 31/8/05...
wif a jalur gemilang 1.5KM looong...

*this is where we stayed in KK...

*at Pekan Nabalu.."can i???"

*starting place...erk i caught dis while goin home

well pictures tell a thousand words...
i guess i can only elaborate...
on parts that meant the most to me....

actually to conquer mount kinabalu...
is it just a matter of an 8.5KM of trail...
BUT...
it aint straight...
1KM on the ground is waaaay different....
from a 1KM on the trail....
so the climb is divide into 2 parts...
first part consist of a 6KM climb following a visible trail...
b4 u reach Gunting Lagadan & Laban Rata;resting place...
wif nasi goreng at RM11.50...
there people will stop their climb and rest....
b4 continuing the second part at 2am....
the guide said that 2am is the most suitable...
wif clear visibility no kabus....
and great way to layan the sun rise....
it was DAMN cold i say....
my fingers went numb after touchin water...
try SHITTING i'd say...
a wonderful experiance...
ahahaha....

WE started at the starting point at 30/8/05-11:30am...
i reach Gunting Lagadan at 3:18pm...

*asap dan awan bertemu....

and the last person at 5:24pm....
so we had our dinner and rest....
i couldnt sleep...
it was too cold...
3 degreesssss....
ye la org m'sia katakan mane biase....
Mie woke me at 10:XXpm asked for some panadol...
since he wasnt assleep might as well lepak skali...
so we masak maggie to alas perut...
huh!!!i could touch the cerek maa...
tak panas langsung...
very-very comfortable...
by 1130pm ramai lak yang dah bangun...
they couldnt sleep they say....
so at 12:00 - 31/08/05....
we counted down and jerit "merdeka!"...
we sang negaraku,UM's song etc...
habih patrotic rasenye...
dalam keseronokan itu...
datang seorang guide....
lalu dia kata...
"ini hutan!!buat cara dalam hutan!!saye serius nie"....
erk kena sound la skali....

at 02:18am we started the second part....
from Gunting Lagadan to Low's Peak(4095.5m)......
huh eventough it 2.5KM....
it was not a straight line...
it was dark,cold and rocky...
no more treess...
if no torch light...
sure jatuh gunung one...
there was a white rope as guide to panjat..
the steepest was some what 75 degrees....
i was accompanied by MR Udesh...
we broke off from the team...
to climb at our own pace....
at 04:25 am 31/08/05......
me,Udesh and Ho reach the top...
huh...multiracial nyer but it was true...
the view was soooo breath taking...

WAS FREAKIN SEJUK!!!!!!!!!!
by the time everyone in the team sampai...
the peak was kinda crowded...
with 29 of us...
campur org rukun tetangga Sentul..
org putih agie...
SO...
we went on wif our mission...
the 1.5KM Jalur Gemilang telah terkibar....
huhuhuhuhu...
it was oredi morning....
i could see everything...
i could see, peeeargghh jauh siot mau turun...

*tadi bukan Frodo lalu sini kerk??

dah la penat...ahahaha....
rase nak golek jek....
the climb down was oso memenatkan...
kaki gue dah tahap bergetar-getar...
cam vibrator...ahahaha...
unforgetable experiance....
very best...
i've proofed that even a smokin bastard like myself....
can oso do it...
can oso say i did even better then someone who is not a smoker...
ehehehe....
io guess thats it la...
after all that daki dan turun...
kitaorang gi borong barang kat KK...
kaw-kaw nyer....

Mount Kinabalu Conquered!!

quick update!!!!
on 31st August 2005...
at 4.25am...
i've reach the summit of...
Mount Kinabalu....
hohohoh....
FULL STORY WHEN I GET BACK...
am still in Sabah...
